Alaska Digital Archives - Alaska's Digital Archives presents a wealth of historical photographs, albums, oral histories, moving images, maps,documents, physical objects, and other materials from libraries, museums and archives throughout our state.

  Alaska Historical Collections Established in 1900, the Alaska Historical Collections (AS 14.56.080) in the Alaska State Library is a major repository for historical manuscripts, photographs, newspapers, maps, books, and other publications, along with significant personal collections.
 

BrainPop In classrooms, on mobile devices, and at home, BrainPOP engages students through animated movies, learning games, interactive quizzes, primary source activities, concept mapping, and more.

Alaska OWL Program

Our mission is to provide all Alaskans with the benefits and opportunities that come hand in hand with high speed Internet. This includes areas such as e-government services, distance education opportunities and increased access to professional development

The Alaska OWL Project is a grant funded initiative designed to improve the computing capabilities of public libraries throughout the state of Alaska. The project is being funded by the United States Department of Commerce BTOP Initiative, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Rasmuson Foundation and the Alaska State Library.

Reading Kits for Infants and Toddlers are available to check out at the Copper Valley Community Library. They offer infant and toddler appropriate books, toys, activities and parent involvement activities all conveniently package in a bag just right for little helper hands.
